Where do you come from to tune your guitar 1/2 higher? It's not even 432 which is lower than 440! Did you eat some beans in the evening? And all the comments that congratulate you, makes me laugh, it's because they don't play guitar.
What are you talking about?! The song is in Eb minor key and therefore the guitar is tuned half step down. It's pretty easy to understand. Regards

This is a song with just two chords: A and D
@@GuitartutorialsIt I disagree, it is clear that when Bono sings Wide awake the second time a G chord (or G6) is played, than a D (sus-2) and an E right before it goes back to A when he sings Im not sleeping. The E sounds odd in my ears, but it is mentioned in many tabs. I guess a varation on the E is played but I cannot figure it out and hoped you could enlighten me in this. I think it is strange when you post a tutorial like this without noticing that it has more chords more than only A an D!
@@RonaldvanHoveUITH the guitar continues with the same two chords. When Bono sings Wide Awake the bass changes by going on G, creating a Gsus chord with 6th and 9th. After that the bass goes on E just for one bar and then on D before the A and D progession starts again. That E you mentioned is just a passing note on bass and the short duration does not mean any chord change, also because the guitar is playing the notes D A and E, so there is no clue leading to an E major chord! So if you want to play it on guitar using chords you have to play a Gsus 6/9 chord just when Bono sings Wide Awake. Hopefully we have clarified your doubts!
